Toyota Motor announced an unprecedented 12 factories nationwide work stoppage for 11 days
Because of the global auto market a serious decline, Toyota Motor, Japan's largest depot on the 6th unprecedented announced in February from March to between 11 days and 12 manufacturing plants nationwide full-day work stoppage.
Toyota has announced the end of last year in January to close the production line three days nationwide. But now once again an additional 6-day suspension in February, five days work stoppage in March, a long lay-off date of a record high.
Toyota Motor announced an across-the suspension before the trip in August 1993; because at that time due to appreciation of the yen, auto sales suffer. But then, just one day work stoppage, however.
Due to surge in oil prices and financial tsunami triggered by the global economic downturn, a serious blow to the major depot. They are forced to massive layoffs, reduce costs, and delayed development of a new car. The United States is also rising in the three depot support.
Toyota last month said they have 70 years of operating losses for the first time; loss could be as high as ¥ 150,000,000,000 (USD 1.6 billion 60 million U.S. dollars).
